My name is Reinaldo Sanchez-Torres, MD. I am known in the local music scene as Doc Shredd. I am a multi instrumentalist musician/songwriter/producer. I play guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and saxophone. Originally from Puerto Rico, I moved to Champaign-Urbana in 2006 to work as a cardiologist for Carle. I play multiple genres of music including, blues, funk, rock, hard rock and instrumental metal music. I have release several singles this year through DistroKid and a full length album: Fire In The Air through CDBaby. I recorded all instruments for my album and mixed/produced it entirely. Current Acts: I have a duo with my wife: Jadie and Doc Shredd I organized and had a band Doc Shredd and The HeartStrings I performed as Lead Singer with Last Minute Band Currently opened a New Studio 2026
